Writing Firstlight was the most fun I've ever had writing a book. Everything about it just felt and read right to me. Every time I set aside a specific amount of time to write, I always ended up overspending it.
This has always been the main target—the goal—for Rovik's journey. Ever since he was just a miner in my head, he was always destined for this.
And so, a little secret hook for his next journey:
The Corvani revelations. I had a tough time making them the “antagonists” of the story without turning them into an antagonizing force of evil.
